You should not need to modify any build settings. I am fairly confident the problem is a dependency issue. I am not sure why it is being so persistent for you. Maybe we could share a desktop session with join.me and I could help you work through it and find the problem? In the mean time I will keep looking, but I am not yet able to reproduce the problem in a way that touching files and rebuilding doesn’t fix.
